This set of 6 colors was hand selected by artist and educator, Eric Santoli.  The 'light and simple' palette is perfect for 'en plein air' trips and can be used to mix a wide range of colors.  Combining both earth pigments and more chromatic pigments creates a well-balanced palette that can be used to paint landscapes, still lifes, florals, figures and more!  "Let's Go Paint!"

Stoneground’s Eric Santoli - Light & Simple ~ 6 contains six half pans of our handmade watercolour paint in a hinged metal tin. Measuring approximately 2 1/2” x 2”, this compact size is ideal for travel and plein air painting.

Colours Included: Hansa Yellow Light (PY 3), Pyrrole Red (PR 254), Quinacridone Magenta (PR 122), Burnt Umber (PBr 7), Phthalo Green Blue Shade (PG 7), and Ultramarine Blue (PB 29).

About the Artist:

Eric Santoli is a painter, teacher as well as creator and host of Eric En Plein Air available on PBS where he pairs art alongside environmental appreciation. His background includes receiving his BFA as a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania as well as a certificate recipient of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art.  He additoinally received his MA in Studio Arts from the Florence Academy of Art.  In 2021, he was awarded the prestigious Munn Fellowship Artist Residency Award by the Versailles Foundation.  During his fellowship, he lived at Claude Monet's house and gardens as Artist-in-Residence.
